150 million euros? Al-Hilal planning massive bid for Bayern Munich star
Reports in Europe suggest the Saudi club has allocated a 350 million dollar budget for summer acquisitions and is prepared to offer Luis Diaz 25 million euros per season.
Al-Hilal continues its search for offensive reinforcements, and according to reports in Italy, the club has identified Luis Diaz as its dream target for the current summer. The Saudi side has already completed the signing of Crysencio Summerville from West Ham for 76 million euros, but remains keen on adding another elite attacking player.
According to reports, Al-Hilal is prepared to offer Diaz a contract worth approximately 25 million euros net per season. Richard Hughes is leading discussions with the Colombian international's representatives, though no formal negotiations have taken place with Bayern Munich at this stage.
The Saudi club intends to approach the German champions only if Diaz signals his willingness to move. In that event, Al-Hilal is prepared to submit an offer ranging from 120 to 150 million dollars. The club's total transfer budget for this summer stands at approximately 350 million dollars.
Despite the significant figures, the chances of Bayern Munich parting ways with the Colombian appear slim at this time. Diaz is under contract until 2029 and has become a central figure under Vincent Kompany since arriving from Liverpool last summer.
The winger recorded an extraordinary debut season in Bavaria, tallying 29 goals and 23 assists across all competitions. He is expected to return to training early next month following a short vacation. Bayern plans to manage his playing minutes carefully in the upcoming season, with the addition of Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven expected to provide necessary rotation.
