Wallace is expected to fill the spot of Lonnie Walker, who is set to leave the team, and will earn about $1.2 million per season.
Wallace, 27, standing 1.90 meters tall, will arrive at the yellow club after years of playing primarily in the NBA and the G League. In the 2025/26 season, he recorded 53 appearances for the Atlanta Hawks, where he averaged 3.5 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 10.1 minutes per game.
This marks the first European experience in the career of Wallace, who until now has played only in the United States. He is considered a backcourt player capable of playing multiple guard positions, possessing both outside shooting and defensive abilities. At Maccabi Tel Aviv, they hope he will integrate quickly and be a significant addition to Oded Kattash's roster.
Wallace is the older brother of Cason Wallace, a player for the Oklahoma City Thunder, and he began his college basketball career at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
The American guard joins the list of Maccabi Tel Aviv's summer acquisitions, alongside Yam Madar, Bonzie Colson, and Daniel Theis, whose arrival was officially announced by the club today.
