The kitchen of "MasterChef: Dream Team" (a new episode airs Sunday, after the news on Channel 12) opened earlier this week. Among the 12 contestants who have returned to the show to try for the title once more is Kosta Osadchy. Now, as the 40-year-old tries his luck again—after having to drop out of the eighth season when his wife went into labor—he arrives with a completely different look than the one we remembered. How different? 105 kg less.

"In the season I participated in, I received a golden apron from Michal, and for a salad at that. A 200 kg guy serving a salad. Today you don't need a panoramic camera to film Kosta, I am 105 kg less," Osadchy said in the latest episode.

Osadchy regularly shares photos and videos on Instagram of the fitness routine he has adopted over the years. In one of his posts, which includes footage from before his transformation, he wrote with humor: "Remember this chubby guy? Sometimes I look at myself in pictures, and the feeling is as if it never happened to me, as if these were other lives. From experience I say: it is easier to be lighter."

During his time in season 8, Kosta credited his wife with helping him save his life. "She makes sure I don't lose focus. If it weren't for her, I'm sure I wouldn't be walking today," he said then, estimating that he could have reached a weight of 250 kg. At his peak, Osadchy weighed about 200 kg. He also previously participated in the third season of "The Biggest Loser" (Laredet Begadol) on Channel 10, where he began his journey and lost more than 50 kg.
