Uss George Washington

Following reports of crew mental health struggles and supply shortages, the USS Abraham Lincoln has ended its 270-day mission and is returning to the US. It will be replaced by the USS George Washington.

The United States Central Command announced on Thursday that the aircraft carrier USS George Washington and its strike group have entered the CENTCOM area of responsibility. The carrier arrived in the Arabian Sea to replace the USS Abraham Lincoln.
