Cybersecurity firm Upwind Security has raised approximately $300 million, bringing its valuation to about $3.8 billion. The company has more than doubled its value in just a few months.

Attackers took over the account of a well-known developer on the popular AI model sharing platform and injected malicious code into dozens of common open-source libraries. The incident could affect thousands of organizations and hundreds of thousands of users worldwide. Security experts urge caution.

The cyber unicorn Upwind, which develops a platform for cloud infrastructure security, is appointing Omer Grossman as Chief Business Officer. Grossman brings extensive experience in cyber defense, having previously commanded the IDF's Mamram unit.
