Soil Contamination

The court ruled that at this stage, the lottery for the distribution of rights between landowners in Sde Dov should not be promoted, after some of the rights holders requested to wait until the extent of soil contamination is clarified. Meanwhile, Adam Teva V'Din opposes the dismissal of the petition regarding soil contamination in Sde Dov, despite the Supreme Court's recommendation.

Concerns regarding soil contamination in the Sde Dov quarter continue to delay the distribution of rights among approximately 1,700 landowners in the 'Gush HaGadol'. Although the appraiser found no grounds to change the value coefficients at this stage, rights holders argue that the lottery must be postponed until pollution test results are available.

The Israel Land Authority (ILA) has submitted a court update regarding soil contamination tests in the Sde Dov quarter ahead of a land distribution lottery, which has already been postponed. While the judge deemed the delay "negligible" compared to the risk of discovering significant contamination gaps, the lack of data means the lottery will be postponed once again.

The first purchaser of an apartment option at the Sde Dov complex is suing the real estate developer Gindi, demanding the cancellation of the deal and a refund due to severe soil contamination.
