When entering the gates of the Shaanan Academic College of Education in Haifa, it is hard to believe the institution is marking its 75th anniversary. Prof. Avi Levy, the college president, is convinced that precisely now, when machines are more sophisticated than ever, the education system must return to the most basic element: the human being.
