Russia Sanctions

After months of criticizing US President Donald Trump's extensive use of tariffs, most Senate Democrats voted for a sanctions package against Russia. The legislation grants the president limited authority to impose tariffs of up to 500% on Russian imports and up to 100% on goods from the five countries that are the largest purchasers of Russian energy.
