A Haredi man signed a total waiver of his apartments just so his wife would not divorce him. The husband's psychologist determined that the decision was made when he was in a state of impaired judgment and when "the sword of the threat of divorce was placed over his neck." The judge ruled that this was an unconscionable transaction, and the agreement was cancelled.

The Jerusalem Family Court rejected the woman's request to cancel the prenuptial agreement, but ruled that the husband must balance with her a luxury apartment he had hidden: "A gift transaction that did not reflect reality."

The court ruled that despite the formal registration in the husband's brother's name, both brothers were equal partners in the technology company and the patent it developed, and therefore the rights will be included in the division of property between the spouses.
