Prisoners

Israel is expected to release five Lebanese nationals held in its custody today, in coordination with the USA, as a gesture within the framework of negotiations with Beirut. The issue of the detainees was raised during the latest round of talks in Rome.

According to Ukrainian reports, several Russian prisoners escaped in the Rostov region while being transported for deployment to the war in Ukraine. There are reports of an attack on a taxi driver and the death of a local resident.

Two prisoners were found dead with signs indicating hanging following an authorized intimate visit in a Colombian prison. The man was serving time for murder, and the woman for aiding a prison escape. Authorities are investigating the incident, with double suicide being the primary line of inquiry.
