Arkia Israeli Airlines opens its 2027 flight schedule early, offering a 20% discount on 40 international destinations for bookings through November 2026.

According to Oz Berlovich, the delays stem from operational problems at Ben Gurion Airport - "but we take responsibility"; on flights on Shabbat: "There is a business justification for this"

The Israeli airline took off last night for New York using a new Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner. The fleet expansion comes in response to growing demand at the peak of the summer season.

Flight delays have not spared any airline, but Arkia has faced sharp criticism on the web in recent days. Oz Berlovich: "I'm not trying to downplay it, but 92% of our flights depart on time."
