Col. Netanel Shmaka defended the 'Tzabar' battalion commander who smashed symbols used for hazing rituals against young soldiers: "This is not a new case - and we are always working to eradicate it." He clarified that none of the smashed symbols belonged to the battalion's fallen soldiers: "There was no insult to anyone's honor."
