Following serious findings regarding suspected false entries in doctors' specialization logs, the Ministry of Health announced the opening of an independent and comprehensive investigation and summoned health system leaders to an urgent emergency meeting next week.

An audit committee found serious deficiencies in the training of cardiology residents at Kaplan Hospital, including alleged falsified records. The Scientific Council recommended exceptional measures, including revoking the accreditation of the cardiology department and conducting an individual assessment of the doctors who completed their residency there.
