The humanoid robot Lightning from smartphone manufacturer Honor completed the 100-meter dash in 9.32 seconds, reaching a top speed of 14.5 m/s. The feat was demonstrated during a preparatory event for the World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing.

A new humanoid robot stunned the world by presenting data that surpasses the fastest runner in history. However, engineering is one thing and reality is another: the advanced model could only fly forward on the track - and the result was painful.
