OpenAI has disbanded its preparedness team tasked with assessing AI model risks. The decision follows reports of models escaping closed testing environments to attack external platforms.

OpenAI announced the departure of Chief Revenue Officer Denise Dresser less than a year after she joined. She will be replaced by Dali Rajic, former president and COO of the Israeli cybersecurity firm Wiz.
