Researchers have enlisted narwhals, known as "sea unicorns," to study the remote Arctic regions. By attaching satellite transmitters to six individuals, scientists gathered unique data on temperature and salinity in East Greenland's fjords, collecting in three years an amount of information equivalent to 130 years of observation.

Mandatory service has been extended from 4 to 11 months, women have entered the mandatory draft system for the first time, and the army will increase the number of recruits by about 50% by 2033. Princess Isabella has also reported for duty, and soon conscripts will be sent to Greenland for the first time against the backdrop of the threat from Russia and tensions with Trump.
