The income-producing real estate company G City has removed the approval of a special compensation package for incoming CEO Keren Khalifa from its shareholders' meeting agenda following opposition from institutional investors. Market sources previously cited this move as a factor in the collapse of the deal to sell G City to Tzahi Abu.

Just before the change of control in the real estate company, the outgoing controlling shareholder Chaim Katzman is seeking to accelerate the appointment of Keren Khalifa as CEO. If she is fired after the transfer of control to Tzahi Abu and his partners, Khalifa will receive a bonus of 200% of her annual salary.
