The first Ferrari Luce electric car, launched three months ago, was sold at a Sotheby's auction for $40 million. The final price was 35 times higher than the vehicle's standard retail value.

After a plethora of Chinese electric vehicles that taught us that electric cars are the end of driving pleasure, the new Korean sedan arrives and makes a mockery of the laws of physics. Now, all that remains is to bring its capabilities to less expensive electric cars.

Despite harsh criticism from brand enthusiasts, Ferrari has sold out its entire production allocation for the Ferrari Luce electric vehicle. The majority of sales were recorded in the Chinese market.
