Data from Yad2 shows interest in electrified cars in Israel surged nearly fivefold, reaching 23.5% in September despite government fuel subsidies and price drops.

Israeli businesswoman Pnina Rosenblum purchased a new electric Volvo ES90 luxury sedan. Valued at over 500,000 NIS, the vehicle features 333 horsepower and a 650 km range.

The first Ferrari Luce electric car, launched three months ago, was sold at a Sotheby's auction for $40 million. The final price was 35 times higher than the vehicle's standard retail value.

After a plethora of Chinese electric vehicles that taught us that electric cars are the end of driving pleasure, the new Korean sedan arrives and makes a mockery of the laws of physics. Now, all that remains is to bring its capabilities to less expensive electric cars.
