The Central Elections Committee recorded a two-fold increase in the number of candidates compared to the previous elections, but only about 35,000 will be accepted for the position. On Wednesday, registration will open for 14,000 election integrity inspectors.

The Central Elections Committee has opened the application process for polling station secretaries for the upcoming October elections. Applications are accepted until August 14, with a gross payment of 3,000 NIS for the day.

Starting August 3, a large-scale recruitment drive will begin for tens of thousands of workers for various roles ahead of the elections. The salary for polling station secretaries will range from 2,700 to 3,000 shekels, subject to meeting threshold conditions.
