The National Public Transport Authority is launching a crackdown on the use of contract drivers. Operators will face fines of 10,000 shekels for every trip performed by drivers not directly employed by the company.

Starting January 2027, free blue-and-white zone parking for city residents will be restricted to their immediate residential area. The reform that could have prevented this shift was blocked in the Knesset.
