Biocatch

The mega-deal in which Visa acquired BioCatch at a $2.4 billion valuation yielded the Jerusalem-based investor group OurCrowd about $200 million. The fund, which operates on a unique model, also holds shares in the AI giant Anthropic.

The company developed a system for identifying and preventing fraud in the banking system using biometric and behavioral means. Only two years ago, BioCatch was sold to the Permira fund for $1.3 billion.
