Israeli Startup Zenzap Raises $33 Million to Integrate AI Agents into Workplace Communication
Israeli startup Zenzap emerged from stealth with $44 million total funding, including a $33 million Series A led by Bessemer and Lightspeed, to integrate AI agents into enterprise communication.

The Israeli startup Zenzap, which develops enterprise communication platforms and AI agents for work teams, has raised $33 million in a joint funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners, alongside investment from The Garage. Operating in stealth until now, the company has raised a total of $44 million to date. The capital was secured in two stages: a $33 million Series A round closed in August 2025, and an $11 million seed round raised in 2022.
Leadership and Global Presence
Zenzap was founded in late 2022 by three entrepreneurs: CEO Guy Weiss, who previously founded Stucco Media and led it to acquisition; CTO Yehonatan Bein, who held senior technological positions at Voca.ai (acquired by Snap), Viz.ai, and other firms; and COO Noam Neuman, who previously served in senior roles at Mobox and Matomy. The company currently employs 45 people across its offices in Tel Aviv's Sarona district, the United States, and Europe.
Integrating AI Agents into Teamwork
The platform developed by Zenzap is designed to integrate AI agents directly into team communication channels. While the first wave of artificial intelligence focused primarily on improving individual employee productivity through separate chat sessions with chatbots, Zenzap aims to enable humans and AI agents to work together in a shared environment. The system allows users to delegate tasks, track execution, share documents, consult, and make real-time decisions.
"We are developing technology similar to Slack, but we target non-technological organizations that Slack hasn't reached," explained Guy Weiss, founder and CEO of Zenzap. "We offer them AI capabilities with agents that know how to provide answers, whether it's a healthcare organization or a real estate company."
Building Enterprise-Grade Infrastructure
Developing the platform required the company to build an enterprise chat system entirely from scratch. The platform is available on desktop and mobile devices, offering an organizational team chat interface managed by the enterprise. The AI agents are embedded in conversations and connected to thousands of tools used by employees, ensuring that organizational data is retained securely over time.
