Zehut Files Urgent Police Complaint Over Incitement Threats Against Moshe Feiglin

The Zehut party announced on Wednesday that it has filed an urgent complaint with the Israel Police following a video distributed on social media. According to the party, the footage includes calls to set up an ambush and physically harm the party chairman, former Knesset member Moshe Feiglin.
According to the party's statement, this represents a dangerous crossing of a red line, with the video allegedly featuring calls to "harm, avenge, and punish" Feiglin. The Zehut party claims the publication comes against the backdrop of recent online rhetoric following Feiglin's ascent to the Temple Mount and his political positions during the election campaign.
The party linked the alleged threats to the ongoing struggle surrounding the Temple Mount, arguing that the issue lies at the center of national and security controversy. "It is not by coincidence that our enemies called the October 7 attack 'Al-Aqsa Flood'. They understand precisely what this war is being fought over," the party stated.
Zehut emphasized that from its perspective, the Temple Mount is the "epicenter of the campaign and the heart of Israeli sovereignty," asserting that any display of weakness or concession on the matter is viewed as an invitation to continued threats and terrorism.
Feiglin himself addressed the threats, stating: "The threats and calls for an ambush will not deter us. The root of the struggle for our existence begins at the Temple Mount, the holiest site for the Jewish people, and that is also where our sovereignty is decided. We cannot accept a reality where extremist elements threaten and attempt to silence public figures who present the simple and clear truth without fear."
The Zehut chairman called on the police to take action against those behind the publications: "We demand that the Israel Police act immediately, apprehend the inciters, and clarify unequivocally who is the sovereign and master of this land."
