Tens of thousands of Israelis are currently filling the Western Wall Plaza in Jerusalem for the final Selichot prayers on the eve of Yom Kippur 5787.

Meanwhile, a poignant Selichot service was held at Hostages Square in Tel Aviv, led by released captives under the banner "We just wanted to say thank you!". Former captive Bar Kuperstein addressed the gathering, drawing special attention to the missing girl Haymanot Kasau.

"We have returned, but we must all continue to remember those who were not privileged to return," Kuperstein said. "We must remember that there is still one family in Israel that has been waiting for more than two and a half years for their child to come home. Haymanot Kasau is one of our own, and we need her back home."
