Following the recent exit of five senior journalists from the culture desk within a single month, tech editor and senior correspondent Yinon Ben Shushan has announced his departure after five years at the helm of the technology section.
A New Chapter in Tech Journalism
Writing from a flight back to Israel, Ben Shushan reflected on his 17-year career in journalism, including 13 years in mainstream media. He noted that while he is proud of his achievements and the team at Walla, the platform's editorial direction has shifted significantly over the past year toward clickbait and automated content.
