The "Yashar!" party, led by Gadi Eisenkot, has issued a legal warning letter to Likud legal advisor Ilan Bombach, demanding the immediate removal of a campaign video posted by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the social platform X.
The video, filmed at the Tel Nof Air Force base, shows Netanyahu warning against potential external attacks ahead of the upcoming elections. According to "Yashar!", using military assets and combat jets as a backdrop for political messaging violates the Elections Law (Propaganda Methods), which explicitly prohibits using public property for electoral propaganda.
Legal Demands and Timing
In the warning letter sent by attorneys Ori Haberman and Guy Cohen, the party stressed that the publication occurring 28 days before the elections creates an improper association between the IDF and the ruling party.
