Political correspondent and News 12 anchor Yaron Avraham is used to dealing with a demanding pace of events and rapidly changing news every day. However, the respected journalist recently decided to take a short break from his intense work, pack his bags, and fly for a romantic vacation in Greece with his wife, Yael, and their children.
As a political correspondent who covers the Knesset extensively, Avraham's absence on one of the most critical days in the history of the Likud party was notable.
However, the journalist, not wanting to feel completely disconnected, wrote earlier as the polls opened for the Likud primaries:
"Likud primaries today. Battles of a lifetime that will greatly influence the electoral potential of the list in the general elections. 140,000 registered members at 80 voting sites across the country."
As a reminder, the Likud primaries opened this morning with 80 designated voting sites prepared across the country. About 150,000 registered members are expected to decide who will represent the party in the next Knesset. The polls will operate until the evening, with the main center for final results starting from 21:00 being the Bloomfield Stadium.
