Yair Lapid against Yinon Magal: "You and your boss have destroyed the relations"
Following a video circulated against him on social media from his CNN interview, Yair Lapid clarifies what he actually said about Jewish terrorism and adds: "I thank Yinon Magal and the other mouthpieces who do not stop publishing materials from my speeches and interviews in America. You and your boss have destroyed our relations with the Democrats."
Yair Lapid, chairman of the Yesh Atid party and one of the founders of the "Together" union with Naftali Bennett to topple the Netanyahu bloc, expressed sharp criticism against Yinon Magal and other journalists considered ardent supporters of Netanyahu, following a video circulated against him on social media.
In a post published on his X account, Lapid wrote: "I see that the poison machine has now invented that I said in an interview on CNN that Jewish terrorism is the cause of the violence in Judea and Samaria. Of course, that is not what I said. I explained that Jewish terrorism is a moral and security disgrace and must be dealt with without hesitation."
After clarifying his words, which sparked numerous reactions on social media, Yair Lapid took a jab at Yinon Magal and other media figures who, according to him, distribute clips from his interviews and speeches in the US. "I thank Yinon Magal and the other mouthpieces again who do not stop publishing materials from my speeches and interviews in America."
Lapid further wrote: "You and your boss have destroyed our relations with the Democrats, with half of the Republicans, you have brought Israel's status in the world to an all-time low. At least sit quietly and let us fix it."
