The Democrats Leader Yair Golan Vows to Block Netanyahu's Return to Power

Yair Golan, leader of The Democrats, announced on Thursday that his party will not join any government unless it passes legislation permanently barring Benjamin Netanyahu from returning to the premiership.

Speaking at a youth conference held at the Green Corner venue in Tel Aviv-Jaffa before an audience of 700 young people, Golan outlined his party's platform. He stated that a future government involving his faction would roll back all judicial overhaul legislation and force Channel 14 to adhere to journalistic ethics or face closure.

MK Efrat Rayten also addressed the crowd, asserting that recent polls do not reflect the party's actual strength and expressing confidence in mobilizing youth support. MK Gilad Kariv added that peace partners exist on the Palestinian side, accusing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of favoring dealings with Hamas.
