Wolt experienced another global technical glitch causing a temporary shutdown of its delivery service during peak lunchtime hours. The application was temporarily closed for deliveries, preventing users from ordering food to their homes or workplaces. Customers could still place pickup orders directly from restaurants, but couriers were unable to mark deliveries or pickups as completed.

Wolt issued an official statement addressing the disruption: "We are currently experiencing a global technical glitch that prevents us from accepting new orders at this time. We are addressing the issue and hope to resume operations as quickly as possible." The company later added an apology for the temporary inconvenience.

Such recurring technical failures have plagued the platform every few weeks without detailed explanations from management. Similar global outages occurred during the evening hours in August and precisely at 12:30 PM in May, disrupting users just as they prepared to order midday meals.
