Willifood Recalls 820g Canned Fruit Over Polymer Contamination Risk
Willifood International issued a voluntary recall for 820g cans of Beit Yehuda fruit in light syrup over concerns of polymeric particle contamination from packaging.

Willifood International announced a voluntary recall on Thursday for 820g cans of "Beit Yehuda" canned fruit in light syrup due to a quality control issue.
The recall affects products with barcode 7296073748762, an expiration date of 02.05.2029, and batch number E122 4100/01044 624. The item is manufactured by Hainan Xiangjiapo Food Co. in China and imported by Willifood.
The measure follows an internal quality check that raised concerns over potential peeling of the polymeric lining from the packaging seam, which could introduce tiny foreign particles into the food. Consumers are urged not to consume the product.
