The global tourism industry has suffered another blow with the collapse of Weyeboo Business Travel, a travel startup that entered compulsory insolvency and is facing total liquidation.
Founded in 2022 by entrepreneur Jaume Partes Sacot in Girona, Catalonia, Spain, the app aimed to connect travelers with local residents to provide authentic experiences and tour bookings.
However, a commercial court in Girona revealed that since its launch four years ago, the app generated zero revenue. The court appointed an insolvency administrator, leaving the company in terminal insolvency.
