Following El Al's expansion into the hotel booking sector, Air Haifa is joining the trend by launching a new service that allows passengers to book hotels directly through the company's website. This move enables customers to centralize flight and accommodation bookings in one place, eliminating the need to switch between different sites while planning their vacation.

The new platform, Air Haifa STAYS, is operated in partnership with Arbitrip and offers access to approximately 1.5 million hotels worldwide. Alongside the option to book accommodation, the company is offering a launch-period benefit: a 4% credit on the hotel booking amount, which can be applied toward future flight tickets on the company's website.

This initiative joins a growing trend in the aviation industry where companies are moving beyond simple ticket sales to offer complementary services such as hotel bookings, car rentals, and travel insurance, aiming to provide a one-stop-shop experience for travelers.

Globally, these trends are gaining momentum alongside AI integration to streamline the search process for passengers. Meanwhile, Air Haifa continues to expand its operations. In June, the company carried approximately 45,000 passengers, a monthly record since its inception. Recently, it launched new routes to Mykonos, Heraklion in Crete, and Karpathos, while also announcing plans to operate up to ten daily flights between Ben Gurion Airport and Ramon Airport starting in the upcoming winter season.

What about the prices?

Prices are expected to be competitive, often lower than those on Booking. However, it is still recommended to compare rates with the hotel directly and across other booking platforms.
