It was further stated that journalists will not be permitted to join the Prime Minister's flight on the 'Knaf Zion' aircraft. Members of the press wishing to cover the visit independently are required to register via an online link.
Just two days ago, a senior White House official indicated that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was expected to utilize his presence in the US next week to meet with President Donald Trump during the memorial service for the late Senator Lindsey Graham at the Capitol. The official noted that discussions regarding the meeting were underway.
Earlier this month, the two leaders spoke, and Netanyahu congratulated the American President on the occasion of the 250th Independence Day of the USA. The Prime Minister's Office reported that Netanyahu described the United States as a "guarantor of global freedom" and affirmed that Israel values the close bond between the two nations. The leaders had agreed to meet in the near future.
