A distinguished delegation of US investors, entrepreneurs, and tech leaders is scheduled to arrive in Israel in the first half of November 2026 to engage with local deep-tech companies. The delegation includes prominent financial figures, such as an investment banker with a career portfolio exceeding 150 billion dollars, an institutional investment manager formerly overseeing approximately 2 billion dollars in Asia-Pacific markets, and an insurance executive who participated in the founding team of Lemonade.

Fostering Cross-Border Innovation

Organized by the American venture capital fund ICI Fund, led by founder and managing partner Gili Elkin, and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visit aims to bridge early-stage technology companies, research labs, and security systems with global experts. According to Elkin, the initiative ensures that Israeli entrepreneurs connect with professionals who deeply understand US market decision-making processes, from initial product development to scaling for international clients.

The multi-disciplinary itinerary spans innovation hubs across the country, starting from cyber centers in Beersheba—including a visit to the National CERT and a military intelligence unit 8200 base—moving through central Israel, and concluding at the Technion laboratories in Haifa. The delegation will also stop at the Black Arrow memorial in the south, hearing from Yossi Heyman, who was wounded on October 7, 2023, and continued advancing OAK Security from his hospital bed.

Showcasing Advanced Tech and Economic Diplomacy

Among the cutting-edge technologies presented to the US executives are NanoTherma's solution for converting waste heat in data centers into electricity, BioStream's urine-based diagnostic platform for neurological monitoring, and NovaLink's optical satellite communication technology. Additional meetings will feature companies at various development stages, including DeepBrief, AgentZero, Reborn Medical, WhyOSA, and a demonstration by Insignito, which was acquired by Ondas.

The involvement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs introduces a dimension of economic and public diplomacy. Ambassador Dan Oryan, head of the Public Diplomacy Department, emphasized that hosting the delegation three years after October 7 serves as a clear expression of confidence in Israel's economic resilience and ongoing partnerships.
