Over the weekend, officers discovered the unauthorized event in an open area. Police acted to stop the proceedings and disperse the crowd, while detaining a suspect believed to be responsible for organizing the party.
The commander of the Kiryat Gat station, Superintendent Shai Elali, stated:
"The station's police officers are working continuously to locate and prevent illegal events in open areas. Holding parties without the required permits may endanger the participants and the public as a whole. We will continue to act with determination to enforce the law, maintain public order, and prevent safety hazards."
