Major chain slashes prices: children's smartwatch for 59.90 NIS instead of 149.90
Ahead of the back-to-school season, the Kravitz chain is launching a promotion on the popular Kidiwatch children's smartwatch. The promotional price is 59.90 NIS with no additional conditions.

The school year is approaching, and with it returns a common dilemma for many parents: how to keep children in touch with home without rushing to give them a smartphone. Ahead of the return to school, the Kravitz chain is launching a promotion on Kidiwatch smartwatches for children, priced at 59.90 NIS instead of 149.90 NIS.
According to the chain, the discounted price is offered without conditions and is valid while stocks last. Kravitz presents the watch as a communication and safety solution for children as families prepare for the new school year.
Key features include an SOS button that sends the child's location with a single click, and the ability to define "safety zones" with alerts if the child leaves them. Additionally, the watch allows for remote listening, blocking unknown numbers, and phone or video calls with pre-approved contacts.
The watch does not include access to social networks or an internet browser, ensuring communication between child and parent without the browsing risks associated with a smartphone.
Amit Shabtai, director of the commercial department at Kravitz, stated:
"Alongside preparations for the return to school, we are seeing a shift in demand for children's smartwatches. Parents are increasingly interested in communication and safety tools that allow them to keep in constant contact with their children, as evidenced by a significant increase in visits to the smartwatch category on our website and in our branches."
She added that ensuring children's safety is a top priority. The current price of 59.90 NIS represents a 90 NIS discount. Meanwhile, the Kidiwatch model is also being offered at Osher Ad for 79.90 NIS, featuring GPS, video calls, an alarm clock, games, and an SOS function.
Smartwatches remain a preferred option for parents seeking an accessible means of communication who are not yet ready to provide their children with a smartphone.
