26-year-old woman seriously injured while riding a jet ski on the Sea of Galilee

A 26-year-old woman was seriously injured while riding a jet ski on the Sea of Galilee (Kinneret). The report was received at 11:20 at the MDA 101 dispatch center in the Jordan region; medics and paramedics provided her with emergency care and evacuated her to the Poriya Medical Center, as she was suffering from a head injury.

The injured woman was initially brought to the lifeguard station on the shoreline. MDA teams arrived at the scene using the 'Yam-bulance' boat stationed on the Sea of Galilee, an intensive care ambulance, and a rapid response motorcycle, and transferred her to an ambulance for evacuation to the hospital.

MDA paramedic Omri Hochman, 'Yam-bulance' paramedic Yosef Mizrahi, and medic Mor Moshe Ben-Shabat stated that the patient was in a state of clouded consciousness and suffered a severe head injury. According to them, she received medical treatment while being loaded into the ambulance and was evacuated to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
