The luxury villa where more than 420 kg of cannabis were discovered will be closed for 30 days. This decision was issued by the Northern District Police Commander, Nitzav Meir Eliyahu, who signed an administrative closure order for the premises.

On July 12, Northern District police officers raided the villa in the moshav of Migdal. During the search, they seized the drugs, along with documents, cash, and extensive equipment used for cultivation. It was also determined that the villa was illegally connected to the power grid.

According to the investigation, the defendant bypassed the electricity meter using a cable. The indictment states that he consumed electricity worth more than 150,000 shekels without payment.

Following the investigation, an indictment was filed at the Nof HaGalil-Nazareth Magistrate's Court against a 57-year-old resident of Yavne, alongside a request to remand him in custody until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
