Weapons cache uncovered at an outpost in Binyamin; police officers attacked – and the mob rescued the suspect
A special raid by the inter-agency headquarters of the Judea and Samaria District escalated into a violent confrontation. A suspect who attacked the detectives was arrested, but dozens of rioters launched an assault, surrounded the forces, and freed the detainee. Sappers are currently operating at the scene, and a manhunt is underway.

Designated forces of the inter-agency headquarters of the Judea and Samaria District raided an illegal outpost in the Binyamin region and located a cache of weapons. The operational activity escalated into a confrontation, during which police officers were injured and a suspect who had been arrested was forcibly removed from the scene.
Upon the discovery of the weapons, police sappers were summoned to the location. Simultaneously, a suspect at the outpost attacked the officers, causing them light injuries and bruises. Despite the violence, the officers managed to subdue the suspect and carry out the arrest. Immediately afterward, a crowd of dozens gathered, acting to obstruct the operation and thwart the arrest. During the riot, the crowd managed to pull the suspect from the hands of the police, and he fled the scene.
Israel Police forces of the Judea and Samaria District remain at the location, and police sappers continue their work to secure and seize the weapons cache.
