Edna Halbani, who served as the coordinator of visits in the Prime Minister's Office for fifty years, retired from her position after working under all prime ministers from Menachem Begin to Benjamin Netanyahu. Halbani recently responded to the publication of testimony from a former employee at the Prime Minister's residence and the serious allegations he presented against Sara Netanyahu.

Now, her name is making headlines following a sharp message she conveyed to the Knesset members and ministers of the Likud party led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In a tweet published on her X account, Edna Halbani wrote:

"Hey, Knesset members and ministers of the Likud. Yes, yes, you. Do you hear? Listen, you were submissive slaves, you humiliated yourselves to the ground, you wallowed in the mud, you became zeros, nobodies and nothing. You disgraced yourselves, you fawned over her, you became spineless, and in the end? What a fascinating, unbelievable end. One man, Bibi is his name, kicks you. Gives you a punch in the face."

Halbani further wrote to the members and ministers of the Likud party:

"You were used. Both she and the lazy son. Now you are being thrown away like used rags that are of no use. So get out of our lives now and I am sure that he too will flee for his life along with his household."

Against the backdrop of the publication of the former employee's testimony on Channel 12, a response was issued on behalf of the Prime Minister's Office:

"The Prime Minister's Office completely rejects the baseless allegations raised in the report. This is a domestic worker who worked for a short time at the Prime Minister's residence and was fired after failing in his duties, and vented his resentment in a lawsuit full of lies. This is another attempt in a long-standing industry of extorting money from the state through empty slander by employees against the Prime Minister's Office and against the Prime Minister's wife. Only recently, Mrs. Netanyahu won once again in court against an employee who threw lies at her and was forced by the judge to pay compensation to Mrs. Netanyahu."

The office added that the employee was fired in an orderly procedure for professional reasons only, including poor performance, repeated mistakes, and conduct that did not comply with procedures. The office is convinced that the facts will be clarified within the framework of the legal process, where a detailed response will be given to each of his claims.
