Former Blue and White staffer seeks asset attachment over unpaid wages
Dana Kashdi, a former digital specialist for the Blue and White party, has appealed a court's refusal to freeze party assets. She argues that the ongoing election campaign threatens to deplete the party's funds entirely.
Dana Kashdi, who was employed by the Blue and White party as a digital specialist, has filed an appeal against the decision of the Tel Aviv Regional Labor Court to deny an attachment order of 759,000 shekels against the party, led by Benny Gantz. Kashdi was employed in this role from January 2021 to February 2025.
On July 31, 2026, Kashdi filed a lawsuit against Blue and White for 1.124 million shekels, citing the denial of statutory wage rights, including overtime, night work, weekly rest pay, pension contributions, and illegal deductions, supported by an expert opinion from a certified payroll auditor.
Kashdi is requesting an urgent ruling on her appeal, stating: "The election campaign for the 26th Knesset has begun, and the Blue and White coffers are emptying by the very nature of an election campaign. Every day that passes reduces the chance that a verdict in favor of the appellant will be enforceable." Alternatively, she seeks a temporary attachment order to remain in effect until the appeal is resolved.
"According to public opinion polls, the party is consistently far below the electoral threshold, and therefore there is a heavy fear that it will go out to an election campaign that will empty its coffers and end without representation in the Knesset, without eligibility for current funding and without any source of income," Kashdi argued.
She noted that following the dissolution of the Knesset on July 17, 2026, the party faces a situation of certain expenditure of all resources on the campaign and the expected loss of its only revenue stream. Kashdi warned that if the party fails to pass the electoral threshold, it will face a "total cessation of income."
