Vehicle rolled into a wadi in the north: 4-year-old child and man in serious condition

Four people were injured in an accident on Route 89 near Ma'ilya. The man and the child are suffering from head injuries. A 35-year-old woman and a one-year-old baby were moderately injured. The four were evacuated to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya.

Four people, including a 4-year-old child and a one-year-old baby, were injured this morning, Thursday, after their vehicle rolled into a wadi on Route 89, near Ma'ilya in the Western Galilee.

The report on the accident was received at the MDA 101 emergency center at 07:52. Medics and paramedics provided medical treatment to the injured at the scene and evacuated them to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya. A man in his 60s and a 4-year-old child were seriously injured and are suffering from head injuries. A 35-year-old woman was moderately injured with limb injuries, and a one-year-old baby was moderately injured in the face.

Senior MDA medic Muhammad Zaitoun said: "When we arrived at the scene, we noticed a vehicle inside the wadi, after it had apparently rolled over during travel. The man was confused, in a serious and unstable condition, and the child also suffered a severe head injury. We provided them with life-saving medical treatment and evacuated the four injured in intensive care ambulances and ambulances to the hospital."

The serious accident occurred hours after a 30-year-old motorcyclist was killed in an accident on Route 1, near the HaShomroni interchange. MDA teams performed resuscitation efforts, but were forced to declare his death at the scene. The circumstances of both accidents are being investigated.
