Another blow to Hamas: IDF eliminated the commander of the organization's UAV unit

The IDF announced today, Sunday, that forces eliminated the terrorist Hammam Eid, commander of the UAV unit of the Hamas terrorist organization in the central camps.

A political source clarifies:

"The IDF will hold the 'yellow line' until the full demilitarization of Hamas."

The IDF struck in the central Gaza Strip yesterday, Saturday, and eliminated Hammam Eid. This was announced today by the IDF Spokesperson, Brigadier General Efi Duprin.

"As part of his role, Eid was responsible for the production of UAVs intended to harm the citizens of the State of Israel and IDF forces. In the past, Eid served as commander of the drone unit in the central camps and took part in terror plots carried out against IDF forces in the aerial arena," the spokesperson stated. It was further noted that recently, Eid attempted to work on restoring the aerial array of the Hamas terrorist organization, in violation of the ceasefire agreement.

Earlier, the Saudi newspaper "Asharq Al-Awsat" reported new details regarding the head of the internal security apparatus of Hamas in the central Gaza Strip who was eliminated in Deir al-Balah.

Persecuted suspects of espionage

According to sources in Gaza, the senior Hamas official Wael Musa al-Ladawi had recently been managing an operation to pursue Gazan militias that assist Israel. Al-Ladawi was also responsible for pursuing suspects of espionage for Israel and recently worked on the arrests of several of them. Alongside him, another senior official in the Hamas police apparatus was also eliminated.
