The police announced today, Wednesday, the solving of the murder of a man found in his home in the moshav of Ein Ayala at the end of July. The suspect was arrested on the day of the murder, and now, after about a month of investigation, a prosecutor's statement has been filed against him in preparation for the filing of an indictment.
On July 30, a report was received about a man found in his home in the moshav without signs of life and with signs of trauma on his body. Forces from the Zichron Ya'akov station arrived at the scene, and later the investigation was transferred to the central unit of the Menashe district. The central unit investigators collected findings and evidence that led to the arrest of a suspect involved in the murder on that same day. Since then, his detention has been extended several times by the court.
Today, after the police stated that an evidentiary basis had been established against the suspect, the Haifa District Attorney's Office filed a prosecutor's statement in his case. In the coming days, an indictment and a request for detention until the end of proceedings are expected to be filed against him.
