Eight days after the stabbing in Ramat Gan, police have arrested the suspect in the assault on a bus driver. The suspect, a 33-year-old resident of Bnei Brak who works as a Wolt courier, was located yesterday in Tel Aviv and arrested by detectives from the Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan station.

The incident occurred last Tuesday. According to the investigation, a dispute developed between the motorcyclist and the bus driver over road usage. During the altercation, the driver was stabbed, and the suspect fled the scene.

The bus driver sustained light injuries and was taken for medical treatment. Meanwhile, investigators from the Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan station launched an inquiry to identify and locate the motorcyclist.

Following the arrest, a search of the suspect's motorcycle revealed further evidence: spikes and scissors were found inside the Wolt delivery box used for his work.

The suspect was transferred for questioning and subsequently detained. This morning, he will be brought before the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court, where police will request an extension of his detention to continue the investigation into the circumstances of the attack.
