20-year-old murdered in shooting in Gilboa
A young man of about 20 was murdered in a shooting in the village of Muqeible. MADA teams evacuated him to HaEmek Hospital while performing resuscitation efforts, where his death was pronounced. Police forces were dispatched to the scene, began extensive searches to locate suspects, and are investigating the circumstances of the case.
The Israel Police have opened an investigation into a shooting incident that occurred this morning (Thursday) in the village of Muqeible, during which a young man of about 20 was murdered.
Medics and paramedics provided the young man with initial medical treatment and evacuated him to HaEmek Hospital in critical condition while performing resuscitation efforts, but his death was pronounced at the hospital.
Police officers who were dispatched to the scene closed off the area, began extensive searches to locate the suspects in the shooting, and opened an investigation into the circumstances. The police spokesperson stated that the background to the incident is criminal.
MADA paramedic Mordechai Dadiashvili and MADA medic Yossi Akrish said:
"We saw the wounded man when he was unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing, with severe gunshot wounds to his body. We provided him with advanced medical treatment that included prolonged resuscitation efforts and evacuated him to the hospital in critical condition, where his death was pronounced."
