67-year-old man arrested for stabbing bank employee in Tel Aviv

A bank branch employee was stabbed this Wednesday morning in Tel Aviv. Police arrived at the scene and arrested a 67-year-old man suspected of the attack. Authorities have stated that the background to the incident is criminal.
The police reported: "Patrol officers from the Jaffa station arrested a suspect for stabbing a bank employee on Salame Street in Tel Aviv. The suspect, 67, was apprehended immediately, and a knife was seized. The victim was evacuated in moderate condition for medical treatment."
MDA stated that a report was received at 11:00 regarding a violent incident on Derech Shlomo. Medics provided emergency care to a 45-year-old woman suffering from a penetrating injury before transporting her to Ichilov Hospital.
Hatzalah medic Orel Toledano added: "Upon arrival, I found a 45-year-old woman with penetrating injuries. Together with MDA teams, we provided initial treatment, including hemorrhage control and bandaging, and she was transported in moderate condition to the trauma unit at Wolfson Hospital in Holon."
