Aviation giant slashes prices from Ben Gurion: flights to favorite destination for 150 shekels
Airline Aegean has announced a massive discount campaign of up to 40% on flights from Tel Aviv to Athens and other destinations, but to enjoy the special prices you will need to book tickets by the beginning of September.

A price that had almost disappeared from the aviation market is returning for a limited time: a round-trip flight between Tel Aviv and Athens for only about 300 shekels. Behind the offer is Aegean, the largest airline in Greece, which has announced a large-scale campaign including discounts on all its flights.
The move comes as the high demand that characterized the months of July and August begins to weaken and Greek airlines prepare for the period after the summer season.
The window of opportunity is particularly short. The sale opened yesterday, August 26, and will close on September 2, so customers have only one week to make a booking under the discounted terms. The offer applies to flights from September 15 until the end of March.
The discount is not uniform and varies depending on the date of travel. Those who fly between September 15 and November 8 will be able to receive a 25% discount. In the period between November 9 and December 16, the benefit will increase to 30%. For flights taking place from December 17 to January 10, a 20% discount will be given.
The greatest savings are expected for passengers who choose to fly between January 11 and February 28, when the discount will reach 40%. In March, from the first day of the month until March 31, the discount rate will again be 20%.
The prices are not limited to a specific route. It is possible to book tickets through the promotion from Tel Aviv to Athens, as well as flights to other destinations in the Aegean network. The options include both direct lines and routes that include a layover.
A price check revealed that a one-way ticket between Tel Aviv and Athens was offered starting from 45 euros, an amount equal to about 150 shekels. A round-trip ticket was found starting from 90 euros, meaning about 300 shekels for both directions. On other dates, slightly more expensive fares were found, but they also remained significantly lower than the prices recorded during the summer.
It is important to take into account that the prices and the promotion are determined by the airline, and they may change at any time depending on demand and seat availability. Therefore, the price that appears at the time of the search is not guaranteed until the booking is completed.
