Electric bicycle rider seriously injured in Tel Aviv collision
A man in his 50s was seriously injured today after being struck by a vehicle while riding an electric bicycle on Saharon Street in Tel Aviv. MADA paramedics transported him to Ichilov Hospital with a severe head injury.
A man in his 50s riding an electric bicycle was seriously injured today following a collision with a vehicle on Saharon Street in Tel Aviv. MADA paramedics and medics provided immediate medical treatment at the scene before evacuating him to Ichilov Hospital in serious condition with a head injury.
The accident was reported to the MADA 101 emergency center in the Dan region at 12:05. Upon arrival, emergency teams found the rider unconscious and performed life-saving procedures, including hemorrhage control, before transporting him in an intensive care ambulance.
Senior medic from the MADA motorcycle unit, Lee Ross, stated:
"The cyclist was lying unconscious and suffering from a severe head injury. We provided him with medical treatment that included stopping bleeding and evacuated him in a MADA intensive care ambulance to the hospital in serious condition."
